As we respond to the love of Christ and trust the Holy Spirit to fill us, these characteristics will become increasingly more evident in our daily lives, our purpose and desire to bring honor and glory to Christ instead of ourselves. We are to be trusting in that love and power of the spirit to accomplish God’s will in our lives. Galatians 5;22, The fruits of the spirit are Love, peace, patients, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, self control, righteousness and more. Romans 6;22 says, but now since you have been set free from sin and have become enslaved to God, you have your fruit, which results in sanctification-and the outcome is eternal life. We are called holy by position and we are to be holy by application. These are the choices we should be making to optimize our walk with Christ and the work that he has for us to do. We are to stand firm commit ourselves to the Lord and resist the devil. We are to be transformed by the renewing of our minds through the word of God. When the Holy Spirit is in control of our life we do not have to be afraid of the things that the world is afraid of. A smooth transition between trials shows the world our faith and our trust In God.
