As we approach the day for our gathering together for the annual Life Chain event, we have been given an update from the organizers, concerning the meeting place for our particular group. So after we enjoy a nice carry-in meal, we’ve been asked to park in the empty lot between Dog ‘n’ Suds and Kossuth Street at 2:00 on Sunday afternoon (Oct 1). One or two of us can pick up the signs for all of us, over at the Home Depot parking lot, but we don’t all have to go there.
We’ll be covering both sides of Kossuth as much as possible, so I’m hoping for a great turnout. This particular event is only once a year for one hour (2:30-3:30). It’s not easy to stay in one place for an hour and not say anything. (For me, it’s the not saying anything!) But we will be doing spiritual warfare with an army of like-minded fellow believers, as we come against the child killing industry.
We’ll be spreading out from Dog ‘n’ Suds down south towards Bob Rohrman Kia. I looked up that information on a map and the visual helped me. Here’s a link so you can see what we’re talking about too:
Also, there is a sign up sheet in the lobby of the church, so if you can sign up on Sunday, that will help me know how many signs we should pick up. Please remember to dress for the weather. Right now it’s supposed to be sunny with a high of 82 in Lafayette. You might want to wear sunglasses and sunscreen and bring a bottle of water. If you can’t stand that long, a lawn chair is good.
