All are welcome! It’s not just for the kids. Please bring some soup or chili and of course, pie for dessert. Adults can talk, sip coffee, and eat pie while the kids play games for candy prizes. The kids are welcome to wear costumes– just be respectful of God’s house. The party will be from about noon to 1:30 p.m. We could use 10-12 volunteers to help with the games and staff the kitchen. Talk to Karen or Peggy if you can help.
Shoebox season is underway despite all the recent storms to North Carolina! Shoeboxes and labels are available in the gathering area. If you can’t make a shoebox, you can donate some items such as school supplies, small toys, hygiene items, etc. and we will put it together for you. That will be much appreciated too. Each shoebox costs $10 for processing and postage. It would be greatly appreciated if you could include $10 with your box. Please make your check out to Samaritan’s Purse with a note in the memo line for Operation Christmas Child. If you are wanting us to track your shoebox for you, you will need to write your check to Calvary Chapel. You can also donate online to “Follow Your Box.”
The Greater Lafayette Gospel Association invites you to join in One Church United in Prayer for Our Nation on Saturday, Oct. 26th @12 noon at Riehle Plaza.
